Cormac's way with words

Cormac says many words now.  They don't all sound correct, of course, and I only know some because I hear them 24/7, but he has been doing better.  Here are some that he says:

cheerio
cracker
hot dog
cheese
juice
snack
more
wa-wa (water)
hi
tree
teeth
soft
button
up
shoe
socks
car
key
ohhhhh (open)
close
amen ("nen" -he likes to shout this one in church after people say it... which comes up a lot on fast Sundays)
help ("ohm" -no idea why he thinks this one resembles "help," but he definitely does, so it counts)
no no no (he never says it just once, he has to say it three times, lol)

The difficult one is the word "yes."  He was saying it really well, but when I tried to start teaching him to add "please," he no longer said "yes" well.  He says "yeh" or "yuh."  It was a couple of weeks after he had mastered "yes" so I'm trying really hard not to be frustrated with him!  Maybe this is normal, and other kids go through it, but now I've dropped "please" and I just want to work on "yes" again  :)

Anyway, he says a lot of animal sounds, too.  He still won't try to say the animal's name when we prompt him, but the sounds are so cute it's hard to try very hard...  He says sounds for:

snake
cat
dog
horse
sheep
monkey
tiger
mouse
elephant
bee
bear
fish
turtle (he says "dude" because of Finding Nemo)
bird
cow
donkey

In short, Cormac is getting more and more adorable.  He is so smart, and it's really fun to teach him new things.  He seems like he has grown up so much, but at the same time, can he really be old enough to go to nursery next month?  With all the big toddlers??  I've been letting him practice drinking out of little dixie cups, and he drinks fine, but always crushes them before the water is gone...  His nursery leaders are going to love him.
