Annelise's blessing and an Easter hunt

Whitney's beautiful baby was blessed this weekend.  It was great to have the family all together for it.  Annelise did pretty well with the crowd, and Whitney is going to be a great mom.  She already looks like a pro with that little girl.  I didn't feel like a pro when Cormac was that age!

Afterward, the kids all got to do an Easter hunt.  There weren't any eggs, just candy all over the place -which they loved.  They ran around with their baskets like crazy and had a blast.  Even Russell filled up his basket quite a bit -not knowing all that shiny stuff was candy  ;)

National Reading Day (Dr. Seuss Day)

We don't have a ton of Dr. Seuss books, but for our own little celebration we read them all, and watched The Lorax.  Dr. Seuss' are the few books Russell will sit still for, for a few seconds, so he enjoyed it, too.  Cormac made some bookmarks and I laminated them for him, which was wicked exciting for him (his primary teacher gave him a bookmark and he told everyone about it... for weeks!).  He put all of them in his scriptures.  I think he'll love reading like his mom does.  Russell, well, he'll learn to love it... or else  ;)
